WHAT IS AUGGUST?
"AuGGust,” is an annual, 1-week short-term mission trip brought together by Gospel Graffiti and its' various supporters.
Every year GG crew gets together in a pre-determined city and locates one or several walls to paint and impact the local community. The wall owners are then asked for permission to paint. We normally work with a few organization for funding and coordinating. In resent years GG crew has added a free outreach event for the local community with food, entertainment, prizes and give-aways. Some trips have had a day of service where we serve in a soup-kitchen type setting. This year I would really like to go but I would need your help to get there. Giraffe's on the Modest Art Walk
Third Thursday #ModestoArtwalk was alive last night. Nice to see so many people out. I decided at the last minute to set up on the corner of 10th and J to paint live. It went well and had several curious people come up and chat.

Live Painting at Mod Shop
Big thanks to Mod Shop for inviting me to paint live at their event a while back. This is such an important event for Modesto,CA. With creative people leaving Modesto in mass in the last decades and beyond, it really is vital that we have events like this for creative makers to sell their merch and get creative feedback. I really hope that this event becomes at least a monthly thing and then possibly daily part of Modesto. Great video work by my friend AdamC.net. Music by Titus 12.
